"Few days went by without him being punched, kicked or tripped by classmates at Susquehanna Twp. High School.

The teenager, an openly gay boy described by friends as kind and compassionate, said he was constantly harassed, though he never reported it to anyone, not even his friends.

Finally, when some of his classmates told him to "go kill himself" to "make the world a better place," the teen decided he'd had enough. He said he left school in the middle of his senior year because he could no longer bear the torment. "

It's bloody well about time that a high school in the rust belt galaxy of the redneck system took some positive action on behalf of someone who has been tormented over sexual or gender orientation.  I knock from the inside because I was born in Scranton, PA and Susquehanna Township, Cumberland County, is about two hours away.  The whole state needs a good shake into the 21st century.

This was pretty much my school experience... thank God I got out of there in after 9th grade, 3 extra years of torment wasn't my plan.

That poor kid!!  This kind of thing has got to stop happening. Telling someone to kill themselves to make the world a better place, is now commonly said by many kids.  It is a cruel and heartless!!  :(
