I recommend FUT using the strip from the back of the head instead of the crown.

That is what I had (1,800 grafts) done about 8 months ago. Am very happy with the results. Much to my surprise, I had less than 5% shedding. I am scheduling another round this summer to add more density to the corners.

It's gratifying to not have to wear wigs all the time. Which is what I had to do pre HT.

HT was a great investment for me and I recommend that if you have the funds, to go for it. A feminine hairline frames the face and helps to feminize it significantly.
