Recent trip to Mexico, hanging out on the beach and just being amigo.

Starting up my own business and being successful enough to take time off and just enjoy life.

New girlfriend, new dog, cat being reasonably decent about the latter and adoring the former.

I've had a few: my name change last July, my first day at work as the real me in September, my surgery last month . . .

2007 has been a momentous year for me.

But I think the best of them all was when my stepson's daughter, my little 6 year old granddaughter, was allowed to come back into our lives and, after a rather fearful start to the afternoon on her part (who knows what she was told by her mother's bigoted father?), when she turned around and suddenly gave me one of the biggest and best hugs I ever had in my entire life.  I still tear up over that, lol.

2007 was a marvelous year.  Too many good things happened to post here....

Spending the holidays with my family, moving to Denmark, acquiring a new flat, the birth of my niece... too many good things to mention.
