Going to Boston Medical soon for a vaginoplasty consultation. What questions should I ask about vaginoplasty, and what questions do you want answered? I plan to document this journey since no girl has provided reliable information on Boston Medical Center's transgender surgery program anywhere on the internet.

Good luck with your consultation and do report in detail how everything went with them,

I didn't do vaginoplasty, but I  documented my entire orchiectomy with Dr Oates, and asked him some vaginoplasty  questions on behalf of the community.

I must have put it in another thread. I asked him about the wait time for GRS, it was September and they were slotting in appointments for the following March, about 8 months at that time. I also asked about GRS after an orchi, and he said no problem with that at all.

I'm in Weymouth, by the way.  :)

Transgirl,
Ask about their policies if revisions are needed. At the time of my first post op visit, I wished I had asked more about what to expect in the healing process from say 1 month to 6 to 8 months. Guess that is jumping the gun a bit.

Devlyn,
I thought you were a no on GCS.
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.

I am, which is to say it isn't my plan. But it's not off the table if I  change my  mind/decide to continue my journey. I  asked simply so i could report back here. Dr Oates knew I was asking the question on behalf of the community, though.
