My female outfits are beginning to out number my male outfits. It helps when you go to Goodwill and find 4 blouses for $18 bucks.

Ninety-nine percent women's clothes. The last of "his" clothes - excepting a couple of treasured jackets and a few non-gender-specific t-shirts and cargo shorts - were finally donated last week. It was an unexpectedly emotional thing to let them go at first, but now it's a relief that they're gone.

I bought some women's clothing but I don't think they look "right" on me just yet, if ever. Online shopping wasn't a good idea... I mean a few of the skirts and leggings are cute. But not the tops [emoji53]
I have some male clothing, but I got rid of a LOT when I moved a few months ago.
I need to do laundry tomorrow.

I have some cute women's shorts, tops, and pajamas I bought from forever 21, and I have a ton of panties I purchased from Victoria's Secret, Adore Me, and Venza. I do have a few pairs of women's jeans that I do wear out of the house quite often. But I'm still too afraid to wear the cute shorts out of the house though. However, the other day I did wear a pink pair of my cute shorts while I rode my bicycle around the neighborhood, and to the mailbox. I noticed a guy looking at me but I think he was trying to see if I was really a girl hehe. Since I exclusively only wear women's panties though, I have no men's underwear at all in my house.

I'm a transitioned ftm but I'm pretty sure I mostly have women's clothes in my wardrobe. Maybe around 30% or so is men's clothes. Most of it is masculine either way though, and looks like stuff a guy would wear. Women's simply fit better on my body cause of its shape, and the only men's garments I can really wear are shirts, jackets and underwear. So it's for practical reasons and accepting the reality of my curvy body (while I'm trying to further masculinise it), and not about my gender expression or point in transition.

However I do still have a few dresses, skirts and feminine shirts lying around, even some old bras and panties, but no way I'm putting that on again. Too dysphoria-inducing! I'll probably get rid of that at some point if I get the energy to, or it can continue to collect dust in my storage room for all I care.

I have absolutely NO male clothes.  When I became full-time, quit my male-mode job, relocated to my new town as a woman and started my own self-employed business, I did not pack, move or take any of my old male clothes with me... besides, with my even more pronounced female features and even a more diminutive body build that I had before, non of them would fit me correctly anyway....   I made a clean, 100% break, there is no going back.

Reminds me of the story about Cortez, the Spanish Explorer that came to the new world, when he arrived with small armada of ships and his men, he burnt his ships as a clear statement to his men that there was no going back.
***Perhaps for many of us, particularly the full-time transitioners, this is good advice.

Danielle

I would say that 75% of my clothes consist of extra small female clothes that look masculine enough. Out of those, 80% are dress shirts. I basically try to buy in my size things that I like that X male character wears in X show. I have no sense of fashion so I sort of copy and match what I see on Tv.

I am about 60/40 male/female. but that is how I dress too, I switch around a lot. I have always liked to play in the dirt and work on cars so i find that male clothes are just more suited for some activities.
All of my really nice evening/party clothes are female styles. I just love the choices of color/style/textures.

And ALL of my undies are female!

I have zero male clothes. I probably have too much female clothes, but I like a full wardrobe. The only clothing item I have from before transitioning is a Tesla t-shirt, from 1987, but it qualifies as female clothes. Hey, women wear t-shirts all the time.

I just bought my first outfit, knee length little black dress , kitten heels, hose, panties, and bra.
Amazingly, everything fits! It helped that the only thing I bought online was the panties.

I have four closets stuffed with boy clothes (or girl/boy/women's clothes that passes as boy clothes).

I also discovered my feet are half a size smaller than I thought they were.

I've been culling out tops that are too large.  Just because something is labeled "small" doesn't mean it isn't too big to wear.  i also need to toss the pants that I bought when I first started studying fashion.  My waistline has shrunk from 29 to 26 inches.

All of my shirts and shoes are men's (I'm FtM). I currently don't have access to men's pants, though the pants I do have aren't feminine at all. So, all of my outfits are essentially male.

Mostly androgynous. 100% cotton t-shirts with designs/movies printed on them. Or khakis and black collar shirts for work, kind of a uniform of our side of a company.

Casually, male
Work, androgynous.

Maybe one day I will have the ability to upgrade to fully male. Are you where you want to be in yours?

Update. My wardrobe is now an unsorted mess on my bedroom floor. I've been trying to get some (okay a lot) more feminine clothing this past month and I did get some. Now dresses, skirts, tops, bras, stockings and high heeled shoes lay mixed together with masculine pants, button-up shirts, men's shoes, blazers, etc. Will sort it out on Friday when I have laundry booked and stuff away the guy clothes into my storage room.

Before, I used to wear very masc clothes, but now detransitioning I want all the fem stuff I can possibly get my hands on! But as it's just been one month, I haven't exactly managed to make a total wardrobe shift yet. I've just got a few outfits and some underwear stuff, and that's about all for now. Now I'm really glad I kept a few of my fem clothes from before my transition. They still fit, 9 years later, and it feels like I'm time-traveling...

I feel very comfortable wearing skirts, dresses, etc, now. I haven't for all that time I lived as a guy, but now it's like... I didn't know that I missed it. I'll keep buying more feminine clothes as I'll find them or they'll find me. Gonna need a winter jacket, likely new jeans for when fat redistribution happens when I go off T, and lots of new underwear. And lingerie, definitely lingerie. Well, clothing is probably the only fun part about my detransitioning...

Mostly androgynous men's clothes. I almost exclusively wear jeans and t-shirts, and that's how I'll be after transitioning too. I am not a girly girl by any means.

I have a couple long sleeve shirts and a couple pairs of men's work pants left for grubby chores around the house but that's about it. The rest went to goodwill months ago.

Now my real problem is diversifying my wardrobe colors since it's currently suffering from an overabundance of blue shades.

I went on a shopping spree at my favorite online shop. Venus  I love this place. I bought a black shirt dress, a black Maxi dress and a multi colored knee length dress, for about $100 worth. I'm old, not dead. I also went shopping at Goodwill and got six blouses for about $30. I now have 3 pairs of skinny jeans and some skinny leggings. I have a pair of custom shoes, a pair of demi boots and some sandals from Sketchers. I have a fair amount of accessories and underwear. All in all, I think I can make a fashion statement. Thankfully my wife gave me some room in the dresser for my stuff.

Since my female alter, Flytrap, and I basically share the body, each of us has our own closet full of clothes- added together probably half of my wife's wardrobe!

I have about 80% woman's clothing. A few suits, a couple pair of jeans/shorts. Then there are t-shirts which I mostly wear.
Are T-shirts exclusively male clothing or both?

Of course my underwear is all feminine.

Kymmie,
T-shirts are not for males only. They are generic. Of course, some styles are more suited to hug a girl's curves, and some prints are too girly for most men. I often wear a deep V neck with shorts or even outdoorsy type skirts.
I do not always wear a bra under because I like to show off my parts.

I have no male clothes except for a few things retained on a sentimental value such as my high school letter jacket and a few whacky ties my kids bought me.

I do have a fair amount of unisex looking stuff but most of that either carry the true unisex label (example converse sneakers) or come from the girl side of the store.

Most of my t-shirts are form-fitting feminine type - with v-necks, although I have lots of crew necks, particularly stuff like dry-fit athletic wear.
