Valerian

I joined a few days ago and really haven't gotten the hang of this site yet, but I'm sure I'll learn, just as you all have!
So, I'm bad at introducing myself - I'll just be winging this.

The name I go by online is Valerian, I'm seventeen and I live in the United States. I want to be a veterinarian later on, so I'll be majoring in biology, zoology, et cetera. I was AFAB, and I'm glad I'm no longer through my 'questioning' period, though there was little to question anyway, right? ;-)
I don't like to use labels unless necessarry, since they tend to hinder a conversation between myself and someone who isn't as knowledgable on the LGBT+ department.. But my pronouns are he/him or they/them, for future reference.

I started testosterone around six months ago, as stated in my first post on this site, and my dose will likely be raised within the next week.. I really look forward to that! There have been many changes, and I know there will be many more - just like all other aspects of my life, I guess.

I'm pretty minimalist? I'd rather just have a humble cabin in the woods where I can do what I like.. My intrests include art (traditional and digital), music (clarinet, piano, violin, vocal), literature (mostly writing & reading novels and beta-reading), and nature in general. Traipsing through the forest with a hot cup of tea might just be my favorite hobby, if you don't include all the plants and animals in my house.. haha. I should have gotten into botany, to be honest, but veterinary studies is more direct in terms of saving lives, so- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anywho, I hope to make at least a few friends on here. I'm not very social and have little courage, but I believe it'll do me good to talk to others. Maybe I'll even build up those skills for the future! :)
