i guess for me i am vain, but like it was said more a case of taking care of you.. those extra touches..

i cringe at my hair, sigh gonna have to use wigs.. still hoping some of it grows back.. i have no bald spots, my hair is just thin.. very thin and it hurts deep in my soul.

my mens warddrobe consists of 6 work shirts, 2 casual shirts (to visit family) and 4 pairs of jeans and socks, 2 pairs of mens shoes.. thats it.

the rest of my master bedroom wardrobe is like full of girl cloths, my dresser with mirror is loaded with cloths, i have 3 sets of heels, 2 sets of 2inch heeled boots, flats and boots. lol

for me its happening more and more as time goes on, i just cant help myself, i cringe in the mirror but take the time none the less.

I'm not sure if I would call it vain either. I don't consider my pretty , and I don't spend hours looking at myself. But the little bit of time, money and effort I spend on how I look do make me feel a lot better.

Hell I had a time last week I couldn't get out of bed. But I started doing my make up and putting on my dress, I felt better pretty quickly.

I just call it self care, and like a lot people prior to Transitioning, I didn't feel I was worth it.

It feel great to feel worth it now.
