Hello all,
Well it's been almost 9 months since the bottom surgery. Initially I lost a bunch of weight because I couldn't, or wouldn't, eat anything. Then about a month after surgery I ate like a crazy person and got up to 180! OMG!

So fast forward to a couple of months ago, I was so upset with it all and I started the "I'll just stop eating" diet. Well, as I'm sure you can imagine, that didn't work very well.  So what I settled on was: No more eating entire bag of chips on the couch while watching Gunsmoke reruns. No more Mc Donalds, Period. Reduce portion size by 2/3 for all meals. (restaurant meals fed me for three days) No food at all after dinner, and no sodas and NO snacks. a lot of salads.

Almost there. Target 145, now at 155

Congratulations Leslie! I am one week in on my diet. I cut out all dairy, no sugar, no ice cream, no chips. I eat mostly veggies and high protein meats. For snacks I munch on lightly salted almonds, and a mango here and there. I also take Slimvance from GNC 30 minutes before dinner/breakfast. Well before this I weighed 231. Yesterday the scaled showed me at 224, so I lost 7 pounds in one week. I have five more weeks to go.
