Is this church pro or anti transgender? Like really. I'll see one article that suggests the Catholic church/Pope is affirming of transgender issues then see another suggesting that it's not affirming at all. Wish they'd just come out with it instead of playing games.

As a MTF catholic I'll tell you there is a lot of division within the church right now.

The conservatives (Pharasees and Saducees) will hold to their phobias and proclaim anyone that doesn't fit their very narrow definition as sinful.  Pope Francis simply says "Who am I to judge?"

I truly believe that should Christ make his second coming tomorrow, he would be all over the Curia like he was all over the Pharasees and Saducees roughly 2020 years ago.

I still practice and attend Mass most Sundays.  I don't advertise and yes I've received some negative comments.  If I had to describe it, I'd describe it this way:  The men don't notice and the women, mostly, don't care!

My belief is that God cares less how I present then s/he cares how I reach out to my fellow human.

The doctors that advised my mother that DES was the best option for a successful pregnancy didn't have the information to understand how the flooding my prenatal brain would affect me.

I can't believe God would hold against me the choices I had to make to choose life vs. an early exit.
