Hi everyone,

I've been wanting to post here for probably twenty years.  More recently, I've been waiting to write a magnum opus telling my story as a intro post.  It occurred to me instead to just say hello, and maybe the story will come.

The number of posters at this forum who I would have to thank for their unknowing help over the years that came from just reading posts is huge.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello :-)

I see that this is your very first posting and you have just become a member of Susan's Place so please allow me to give you my Official Welcome.

I am glad that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members here on your first posting and thread.

I am thinking that you may lots of questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.
 
Be aware that there are lots of members here that can identify with what you may be going through.

Please allow me to also WELCOME you to Susan's Place.  You will find this a safe and friendly place to share with others  and to read about others similar trials, tribulations, and successes.
It is nice that you had signed up so you can share with others and involve yourself with some give and take with other members.
When frustrated or if you have successes you can share it here if you wish and receive support from others and offer support to others. ....

Welcome to Susan's Place. The only time an introduction becomes a problem is if it lack paragraph breaks. Reading solid walls of text is really difficult because you lose your place and end up reading the same line several times. And yes, as a moderator I read almost everything that's posted. Even if I wasn't a moderator, I sill would read it because I am always looking for somebody with the problem who needs help so doing a little language policing comes along for free. If there is something I can help you with, just let me know.

Hi Isabel 🙋‍♀️ I'm so happy you have made it out of the reader zone and making comments.  I am sure there have been many others that have gained much knowledge from just reading.  When someone gains enough confidence or feels the need for closer contact, it feels good to add in your two cents or ask a question that's been on your mind.

I also welcome you but am sorry it took you 20 years of reading for you to feel safe enough to introduce yourself.

Whenever you feel ready, you can post your story in dribbles and drabs or a magnum opus. We all have stories to tell, most of them are true! I promise we don't criticize based on speellling or typogoofical errirs.
