I'm very discouraged. I want surgery so badly. I have been on waiting list for a while, placed back in March for one last consultation which should be taking place this month or next ( in other words between today June 15 to July 31). This waiting game is tiring. I'm not a wreck ATM, I just really want this to finally happen. It seems like an eternity.

How did you all cope during the wait? My grnital dysphoira is at times very high to the point I become sad or anxious as heck, or moments like now where I just feel discouraged but not a total mess

The waiting game is difficult, and more extreme depending on location and whether insurance or national health care is involved.  I have seen some pretty tall buildings designed and built in less time than some of us have had to wait for surgery or even HRT.

Don't just count the days or months.  Think of the delay as a percentage of time compared to the years before and after.  If you look at your entire life, all of this waiting adds up to a single digit percentage - and you are able to do other things while you wait.  The goals you set will enable you to live better.  An investment in your future.
