Hello, my nick-name is Bon Bon!

I am extremely new to exploring my gender, I am FtM, possibly Non-binary, I honestly do not know. But, I do know, i get real happy being called a Boy and Handsome, wearing male clothing, and the term tomboy i always got for that never fit cause it is something alot more. I have come out to my parents as wanting to be a Man, thankfully they accept me just i think its gonna be a long road, My mother has made it very clear shes always referring to me as 'her daughter'.
I DO have my best friend in my court, who refers to me as a handsome dude, and uses He/They pronouns for me.
SHE IS BEAST.

Fun story! I usually don't like posting to forums types sites, i used to do it as a kid but i kinda grew out of it. But, i played a game called "A Normal Lost Phone" i highly recommend it, 30 minute play and it almost had me in tears. From there, i got the idea to try talking to some people who have more a general knowledge as this is very new to me. The gender thing i mean, cause a part of me knew, should of known when i threw out all my underwear and bought 20 packs of boxer briefs 😀 It is just that initial of okay, i'm here this is open... how to i keep progressing? I know its a passing feeling but a familiar one i had to realizing i was Asexual, the difference this is life altering in a different way and the News scares you, let alone no matter how hard it seems i try, i can't pass.

I was a hermit for 3 years, and my social skills tank. Hard. So just looking for advice maybe i can share some stories and get feedback. I haven't gotten any of that on the other two sites I've 'come out' so to speak on. Amino and Tumblr.. i just get likes, so people like what i have to say, it seems but... no enough to actually conversant.

Oh! and how i found this was through some great posts about being Trans in Disneyworld. I might plan a trip, i really wanna get a set of pronoun pins if i go down there ^_^

Heya, Bon-Bon!

Welcome to Susans!  I'm really glad you came to join this community! I am totally with you on the social skills department, and I think Susans has really helped me with that.  It's easier to get a more personal and general idea of who people are on this site, I would say most of us are not shy in sharing even the most explicit details about our lives and our transitions(or just gender).  I never used Tumblr, I tried using ->-bleeped-<- once upon a time, couldn't keep up. I like Twitter, but it's extremely difficult to get a sense of who people are on there- everything just seems so random for most people and tweets can basically be pulled from any kind of context.

While socializing in real life is definitely going to be more rewarding/healthy experience as a human being, that doesn't invalidate social interactions on here or other online platforms. For many people(regardless of gender) socializing in-person is the exception, not the rule.  At least in the USA, where I live, part of it is because Americans are just so darn busy all the time, barely make time to socialize.

Anywho, that's awesome that you got a cool friend that validates and supports you!  And I totally get buying a bunch of clothes or other stuff and kinda going off the deepend lol   It's important to do a good bit of research beforehand, too, to save a little money, as plenty of what you might do will just be surprise expenses.   I remember(and im still not very good with makeup) I bought like a couple different things for makeup, then like they were incompatible compounds, and even one time I was like, "Oh, I guess I already had some brow gel" lol stuff like that.

They have pronoun pins now? I'm actually going in October with my wife and a bunch of members of her family, I'll have to go in man-mode, but we're getting annual passes, and going back in 2019, and then I can be a woman for it ^_^  And hoping HRT makes me at least look half decent in the photos!

While our identities govern a lot of the things we enjoy, don't be shy in sharing anything you want to with the Susans community. They've got boards for literally everything, I see TicTac revive lots of Fun and Games threads and I always enjoy those- quizzes and stuff like that.

Hello Bon Bon,   Thank you for writing your introduction here on the Forums.
It is great to see that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members here.

I see that you may have questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.
 
Be aware that there are lots of members here that can identify with what you may be going through.

Please allow me to also WELCOME you to Susan's Place.  You will find this a safe and friendly place to share with others  and to read about others similar trials, tribulations, and successes.
It is nice that you had signed up so you can share with others and involve yourself with some give and take with other members.

Hey Eryn! Sorry for the late reply back, but yes! Two sites i know about are :Amazon, and Etsy just type in Pronoun Pins and you will be amazed at amount! Personally, i like etsy's cause they are a bit more fun and cute like this one is a personal favorite:

I'm sorry you'll have to be in man-mode the first go round, but you will have a blast regardless trust me! I had to wear a dress the last time i was down there and ultimately felt very uncomfortable but i was disneybounding ( If you don't know what that is, its wearing outfit the suit color schemes and just look like regular clothes of Disney characters, super super fun) as my favorite princess, Belle and just when i met with Beast and Gaston it made the whole awkward outfit a little worth it to get speical interactions lines with them. This is true with some cast members in general if you don't want to meet with characters, i had several in beasts tavern just smile and compliment me and my roommate while we were buying things. Also, there is so much to do it'll fly by and i'm sure when you go again next year it'll be even more fantabulous!

Those pins are ADORABLE! I got a little lost in the search though lol Some pins were a bit freaky (like the barbie/ken one)

That's really cool to attend in-dress! My wife and I had a Disney-themed wedding, and I wore an outfit that was pretty much identical to prince Adam! (her favorite Disney movie has always been Beauty and the Beast)

Before getting together with my wife I went to Disney world once before(part of a growing-up thing that my lesbian aunts do for family kids) but we try to go every other year(or every year) or so lol  I mean, we'd like to vacation other places, too, but it's like why not just go to Disney again instead? So much to do, and my wife is a stickler with fast passes, reservations, planning, and all that. We always make the most out of the trips, but last time we went they were doing the bedtime story-telling show on Cinderella's castle and it caught us completely by surprise. I loved that moment, because it truly was magical!

We were just walking around the Crepe Shop(I think it's called Sleepy Hollow) and heard Mrs. Potts over the loud speaker, then saw thousands of people sitting all around the big open courtyard in front of the castle.  That kind of stuff is always cool.

I think part of why I love Disney and Disney world so much is you can be an adult and really enjoy yourself like you're a kid, and you don't get judged as much as other places.  That bursting of emotion from me, is something that can't happen as a man anywhere except Disney, but is how I feel all the time as a female.
