Hi,
My name is Andy and I am looking for a place to get to know others in the same boat.  I am an FTM and I have been in gender therapy for six months.  I am out to a select few in my life and am not yet on hormone therapy.  This is awkward, and I really don't know what else to say...except that I hope this will be the supportive, friendly spot I have been looking for.

Welcome to Susan's.  We have several members who are "in the same boat" as you, all paddling down their respective rivers of dreams.  We're a pretty friendly and chatty bunch, who don't mind expressing their ideas and views on the various topics that are discussed here.  The key is to try and participate as best you can, and by that I mean don't be afraid to start new topics seeking answers to questions that are on your mind, or looking for advice, or just posting your view on an issue you have encountered.  This is what makes Susan's so successful, and such a great place to be.

As Joseph mentioned be sure to read the rules, and why not venture over and browse around our Wiki, I think you will find it very interesting.  So again welcome to Susan's, relax you're among friends.
