Hello to all.  I am an older M2F TG who is just starting her journey.  I have let the woman in me come to the surface several times in my life, but never I been a woman in except in private.  Those private times have been wonderful and scary.  Dressing as my true self, feminine, sexy, and emotional.  The scary part is the sometime hopelessness associated with the journey of being the best woman I can be and acceptance.

I would like to get to know people who have made this journey, are making this journey, and share experiences and thoughts.  I would also like to have a little fun.

That is me, and I am happy to be here.

Hiiiii, Gwen, I'm new around here too!  It's a pretty great resource and there's lots of people to help out if you're ever in a dark place.

  Hi Gwen.

I'm Laurie today, I was Jeanette a few days ago. So you're an old fart are ya? I'm 64, mtf like you, and fairly new to this transition thing. I started HRT in December after discovering what gender dysphoria was. So I am an old fart too like you but I'm becoming that old broad I've lived with inside be for so long. I'm working on letting her out. So far only outside after dark though. Daylight is another story.
I am also a self appointed unofficial greeter for Susan's Place and as such it is my duty to give you a proper greeting. ((( HUG )))  Yep, that part of it. (actually I just like hugs so I threw one in)  Welcome to Susan's Gwen. Come on in and grab a beverage then find a chair. What's that? No, no alcohol. We don't stock that stuff here. They wouldn't trust me around it if they did. Some of the girls sneak a bottle of wine in once in awhile though.  We're glad you're here Gwen and we hope you'll like it here and stick around so we can get to know you.
I'm sure you've figured out how to read the posts here and how to  comment on them if you want to. If you have question the create a post and ask it. There are lots of folks here to share their experience and opinions. We also have quite a bit of information you can browse by clicking on the wiki and links above.
Anything else we can help you with? No? Okay then I'll let you be to have a look around. Give us a holler if you need something.

  Welcome Gwen, Welcome home,
  Laurie

Hi, Laurie,

Thank you for the warm welcome.  I am finding Susan's place to be a valuable resource as I start my journey to fully become Gwen.

Hi Gwen!
Scroll down in the intro forum and you'll see I'm new here too.  :-)  Got ta start sometime.  Hope to see you around.  I spent about a month lurking around in here before posting but figured it was time to say "Hi".  So to a fellow posting newbie -> "Hi!"

Nice to meet you, Gwen!

So glad that you've made the big decision to start being honest with yourself and also relying on this community for support! I may not be able to help much, since I'm still kinda new to everything, but I will try to help whenever I can!

Don't just rely on girls that have been there(though, these girls have an amazing wealth of knowledge and experience that will surely help you like you said) but also, I find I really enjoy mingling with the new girls, too! Because you may be at the same exact place in your transitions and I dunno, there's just something I can't describe well about going through my transition alongside others.

Anyway, hope to see you around the forums, Gwen! (pretty name, btw)

Much love,
Eryn
Looking to make and keep friends! Spreading the love, now that I can truly love myself!
