Anyone else went to pee and had this issue! I don't buy jumpers anymore and cut and sewed in a hook-n-eye on the ones I had after this...

....happened! Isn't it fun to  have to pee and be dancing around a stall and have to strip completely naked to sit?! I have a fun image somewhere about the joy of finding POCKETS! in a sun dress! Yippee!  Anyone else? I could use a few laughs and shared fun!

Hi! This is Jane's filter! She sometimes forgets me, so since I'm here at the moment I thought I'd head off any conflict that I know she can, with best intentions, stir up. SO! If she just said something that has you fired up, then realize that she really means well and if you hold back just a bit and appeal to her heart and reason, then she's actually very unique in that she can accept differing opinions and very quick to admit when wrong and apologize if offends! Give her a try and it will end with you guys as total besties! I promise! Thanks!

OH! ..and remember... FORGET some jean manufacturers forget to sew the back pockets of womens jeans shut like all other "fake" pockets on womens clothing! We don't GET pockets! If you forget for a moment that your butt is to remain smooth not distorted by a phone or cash...YOU WILL PAY!  I decided to put my phone in there week before last, instead of my purse where it's safe...theN go to pee....BAM! Soon as drop jeans, phone is face first on floor, hairline crack in screen...6th SCREEN so finally just upgraded to Gorilla Glass 4 cause...I don't really take my own advice a lot! LOL Big surprise! Hey, at least I'm honest!

I sort of dig the faux or small pockets on jeans. Bags and clutches make up the difference and the result is a smoother silhouette. The phone is an issue, yes but either it goes in a full size back pocket or in the bag.

Right! Embrace it! A gal like me isn't going change fashion overnight....and tbh I couldn't go back to pockets anyway, I carry WAY too much stuff now in my huge Coach purse! LOL

I have my phone in a Otter box and two phones have survived multiple drops without damage. My newest one was run over by a car and while the case looks a little beat up, the phone still looks like new. It does make the phone a bit bulkier but I am used to it and the phone sees a little strange when I have it out of the case.

Oooo! That could help me! Cause with an otterbox on it, it would never fit in my tiny butt pockets to begin with! Stay in purse where safe! Good Plan! Now just need a plan for leaving it on the TP dispenser! Yeah, I'm a bit spacy!

I can sympathize with the jumpsuit wearer in the first post.  In the air force I had to wear a flying suit (basically a jumpsuit) all the time.  Having male plumbing, I could take advantage of the extra-long double-ended zipper, but #2 required getting naked.  At least all our pockets had zippers!

I like the smooth look of pocketless jeans.  But sometimes, I don't want to carry a purse, and it would be nice to have somewhere to carry some ID.

Yeah, overalls and coveralls have the same basic problem, mainly if you have to go #2 - What I use to do is keep hold of the back material then bring it up between my legs and fold it over my knee - It's a bit of a coordinated move that requires both hands but it keeps your clothing out of the muck  ;)

I bought a really cute romper once. First trip to the potty, I thought I'd wet myself before I got the silly thing off. Never wore it again.
As for pockets, so few things i own actually have them, that I don't use them when they are there.

LOL, I use foundation wear and it's not so bad, but still annoying. Pantyhose, stockings attached to garter, or ensuring your slip/crenoline/dress stays off the back of the toilet... gross. Finding a place to hang your purse when you need to go... 😐

Rompers aren't bad, jumpsuits take a bit of effort. I use VMs method myself... wiggle dresses are the same. Stay flexible enough to unzip yourself and get the dress down, then the pantyhose and undergarments... Grabbing fist fills of skirt and crenoline on the swing dress to pull it around front, and keep it over your butt to stay off the nasty toilet.

I have full size pockets in all my swing dresses; just not on the wiggle dresses. Full size pockets on my jeans too... 🤔 I'm not sure how that happened. Guess my wardrobe is filled with "Winners". 😂

I empathize with everyone's point of view. I'm just so glad to finally be able to shop for, wear, and look good in a romper or a wiggle dress. I'll worry about going to the potty when I cross that bridge!

The fake-pockets-thingy is so silly. And then the pockets we *do* get aren't deep at all. Don't feel bad, though. A long a time ago, the phone in my back pocket fell into the commode as I sat down in the restroom. At least there's one good reason for no back pockets!  :)

And hi, my name is Eden. This is my first post. I hope it's nice here.

This is my biggest peeve with restrooms.  The hook for a coat or purse is generally on the door of the stall.  There should be one closer to the seat, in case you need "supplies".
But now old friends they're acting strange
They shake their heads, they say I've changed
Well something's lost, but something's gained

Snacks?!?!  That's about the last thing I would want in the restroom. YUCK!   LOL  Seriously, I can't believe how nasty dirty some people are.

As for jumpsuits and rompers, no thank you.  First, they really don't look good on me.  And the potty issue.  They are wayyyy too much work.  As for foundation garments, I always make sure they are hook & eye down below so there is somewhat easier access.

I haven't felt good in a romper since childhood. they just don't hang right over my tummy!

But I love pockets!!!! Not bulky cargo-shorts type but at least able to hold my ID, keys, and pieces of jewelry that fall off.
