Hi everyone my name is Alyssa I came out earlier this year to my family as transgender then recently did it on Facebook as well I've had it pretty lucky so far ive had nothing but support from my family and my true friends. I've had one incident with a transphobic woman recently that shook me but I built a bridge and wont let one person break me because honestly I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted. I look forward to chatting with people here

Hi Alyssa 🙋‍♀️ Welcome to Susan's Place, I'm Jessica!
It's wonderful that you have support from you family and true friends.  It makes things so much easier.  You can now put your energies into your transition, rather than all that goes into defending it.
Please read the site rules and visit the links that our beautiful Greeter @Alaskan Danielle gave you.  They can be very helpful as you post and comment.

I am looking forward to your future here!

Hugs and smiles, Jess
