So on Friday I finally took the leap to live as Emma full time... and life is completely normal. I expected huge ruptures and events and in the end I feel exactly as I did three days ago, and do exactly as I did three days ago. Just happier.

I came out on facebook about a month ago, having been in therapy for years, and hormones about 5 years, and having had breast augmentation, so I left my coming out to late in the process. But I've not had a single bad comment. I'm fairly high profile in my job as a lawyer, so literally thousands of people know me or of me, and I've had nothing but supportive comments and emails. Its been really smooth with absolutely nothing negative about it. First day back at work tomorrow so I'll probably update at some point, but life is awesome right now

Em x

Congrats Emma.

I am glad to hear that everything was anticlimactic for you. It does seem from what you told us you were well prepared for the transition. Good for you.

Thank you girls

Work today was equally normal (albeit in a skirt suit and LK Bennett heels). Who knew normal could be so sweet!!
