Spironolactone...inducing milk?

Hi all. I've been on spiro for a couple of months now. During this time, I've actually experienced amazing breast growth (I'm at an A cup!  ;D) I don't expect it to grow much more before I start estrogen(s). My doctor did say I could have expected significant growth because of how young and skinny I am.

Anyhow. Nipples are super sensitive now, which makes them really fun to play with  ;). Last night, I noticed that inside my nipple there was this "shiny" sort of layer, and when I actually felt it, it was almost like a tissue. I poked a hole in it (maybe stupid  ::)) and some actual white liquid came out that I assume would be milk. I was shocked. I didn't dare taste it, and even if I did it was so little you probably wouldn't even taste anything.

I know this can happen, but I'm surprised by this, especially with how young I am (16). Does anyone know what that layer could have been, and could it very well have been milk that came out of my breast??  :P Thanks.

I don't know what the liquid would have been, and I don't recommend poking holes in your nipples.  Nor do I know if spiro alone could do that.  The breasts grown by AMAB trans women are fully-functional, so if yours are developing, there is no reason they could not produce milk given the right hormonal cues.

Apologies, I have edited my post. Thanks for the insight. (and yes, I don't know why I did what I did. Curiosity, I suppose.)

Autumnn, I know you interested in playing with your new sensitive nipples, but don't poke holes in them as you could get any inflection.  Then you would need to see dr for antibiotics.

Yeah, don't worry. It was a clean little safety pin thin. It was just to pierce that really weird layer I saw inside of it..

It is not an unusual. Many people experience a little leakage (even without the safety pin). I did as well for a few months. Not much.

It is not actually milk but it is connected to the ducts that would produce that if it were stimulated to. I have read that if appropriately stimulated, trans women can produce milk when their breast development is further along.

Pins would be a puncture. They can introduce bad stuff into your body and it often can't be bled out (by bleeding). So do be careful poking yourself anywhere. Electrologists and medical providers tend to use very sterile needles...

This happens to some teen girls too. Welcome to puberty, girl.  ;)

With warmth,
