Midsummer

Today is midsummer in Sweden. We have been gathered all family. Looking at people dancing around the midsummer pole.

Ate a lot of good food. And then I lay down like an old guy resting my stomach. Haha. It was me and two other guys sleeping in separate corners of the house.

What a great festival to have!

It is mid winter here in the Southern hemisphere and although cold (for here) it has been so mild that the flowers and trees haven't realised it is winter and the birds are laying and hatching eggs thinking that it's spring.

We did have some rain last week, it was explained on the News programs what it was

I did nothing this Litha/Summer Solstice except to start looking for a local Pagan group.  I need to find one that doesn't charge to attend. [emoji20]

I also celebrated Midsummer's. It was just me and my parents eating pickled herring cake and then strawberry cake though, and getting a little drunk on beer and grogs. My sister was sick or otherwise she would have been there too. It was nice to get some cat cuddles as well, during my visit.
