Hi everyone, I have done some lurking on this site before, but I thought I would actually sign up  and do an introduction.

My name is Jenny, and I am somewhere in between being a cross-dresser and being MtF. Trying to figure that out.

I am pretty new to dressing and make up. I had been interested in this sort of stuff for years, but my ex-wife had serious personality disorders, so doing anything that was about making me happy was completely out of the question. But that chapter of my life is coming to an end and I am enjoying rediscovering myself.

I am in Columbus, OH. I love nerdy stuff like video games, anime, star wars, etc... And I really enjoy just hanging out with people talking and laughing.

Thanks

Hi Jenny! Welcome to the family. We're a little disfunctional at times but that's ok. Congratulations on starting your journey toward happiness!

Heya, Jenny! Welcome to the community!

Glad you decided to join in and hope to see you around the forums!

Many of us(myself included) are big geeks and love nerdy stuff. I think since those are kinda more generally accepted as gender-neutral interests, though they don't have to be constricted to gender anyway, I'm just saying there's a lot more geeks that are MtF, than 'jocks' who are.

I'm glad you were able to remove that toxicity from your life, especially if it was inhibiting you from being happy and true to yourself! Makeup is a tough puzzle(or at least it is for me) and I'm fairly new to transitioning, if you decide to go that route, so I'll try to help ya anyway I can.

When I first joined I didn't update my gender to F on the profile for several weeks.  What I found, and you might too, is that each little thing beyond clothes and makeup will bring you immense joy; and if that is the case, I do think then you might want to really consider transitioning.

Transitioning is difficult, but so incredibly rewarding to your health and your spirit.

Have a wonderful life, hun!

Much love,
Eryn
