Hi all,

I was reading this article in wikipedia <dosages link removed by moderator> and noticed that pseudopregnancy is sometimes used to treat Breast hypoplasia also known as tuberous breasts. I happen to suffer from this and would be interested in hearing from others who have gone through a full treatment of pseudopregnancy at the correct levels for the proper duration of the pseudopregnancy. Have you seen any benefits if you had tuberous breasts? It seems the progesterones levels are easier to achieve than estradiol. The E levels just seem to fly out the window.

I might have to talk to my doctor about that actually sounds absolutely fascinating

There is a lot of girls whose breast finally filled in after they started progesterone. Progesterone is important to develop the lobules and round out the hreasts. Estrogen alone will not do this for most unless they have just enough natural progesterone production.
In pregnancy both estrogen and progesterone go very high.

I was placed on Progesterone (At my request) by my doctor not too long ago. I think I have been probably one month on Progesterone and I do think maybe my breasts have filled out a little, but I don't really see much of a difference yet. I do feel like I have more energy though which has helped me lose I think about 4 pounds in weight. Though I also altered my diet. I'm not sure but I think maybe progesterone is increasing my libido and I am not entirely thrilled about that. Not entirely sure, but I am wondering if it is that or the move from dutasteride to finasteride but I managed to get my doctor to place me back on dutasteride.

See I would love to lose weight but at the same time I know the weight that I get will eventually be redistributed where I want it at hopefully so I too sure about that for me at least

Yep, progesterone started making erections possible again for me. Since I had an orchi I am no longer on finasteride but the ability to get erections did not change. Not my favorite effect of progesterone but for me it's worth it. Progesterone leveled my emotions out. I spent a few months on estrogen only and definitely felt better with P added. P did make me have a slight labido again. Enough that I noticed.

I have read some studies were done for the safety of ultra high doses. While extremely high E raises the risk of blood clots, extremely high P had no risks but had pregnancy like side effects. One being the sleepiness and eating more. The study talked about the women taking oral P 4-5 times throughout the day to keep levels as high as third trimester pregnancy.

I think my emotions did level out too so far. I do feel better with progesterone since I felt like it gave me a little bit more energy and this has allowed me to enjoy my work outs better which has let me lose a little bit of weight and so I have felt happier over all. The increased in libido I feel a little crossed about. How is it that P increases Libido? I am not even sure if it is female libido or male libido or both. It is confusing and I am trying to understand it. You know for some reason I don't get drowsy when I take Progesterone. Did you feel drowsy or hungry or sleepy while you took progesterone and finasteride?

The enzyme 5α-reductase catalyzes the transformation of progesterone, T and 11-deoxycorticosterone into 5α-dihydroprogesterone, 5α-dihydrotestosterone and 5α-dihydrodeoxycorticosterone, respectively.

Finasteride somewhat inhibits conversion of progesterone to allopregnanolone and thus drowsiness, sedation and tiredness.
