I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Jason but I am slowly going by Jeanette (Jette for short). I am 33 and have started my transition recently. I have been struggling with my gender for a long time and well I have finally bit the bullet and addressed these feelings I've had my whole life. I started cross dressing in high school and have regularly worn women's clothing since my late teens. As long as I can remember I have dressed and acted like a woman.
I will be looking for advice as to what my steps should be to move forward with this as I have recently changed jobs to a smaller company (I work IT on point of sales systems). I have a great support group behind me and my closest friends are 100% behind me and are challenging me. I have finally had the confidence to be out and a bout as a woman on a daily basis and no longer feel that I need to hide myself from the world.
