I was wondering when I can change my gender marker? Do I have to wait for SRS or can it be done right away? I live in Minnesota.

I didn't bother changing my birth certificate.  In my state (WA) I was able to change gender marker on drivers license using a simple form signed by my endocrinologist.  Minnesota driver license gender marker change is here.

Updated US Passport and taxpayer ID (Social Security) required letter from doctor for gender marker and local court order for name change - I did that before any surgery.
Assigned male at birth 1963.  Decided I wanted to be a girl in 1971.  Laser 2014-16, electrolysis 2015-17, HRT 7/2017, GCS 1/2018, VFS 3/2018, FFS 5/2018, Labiaplasty & BA 7/2018.
