Mari P

Yesterday I scheduled my initial consultation at the American Institute for Plastic Surgery in Plano, TX for next Tuesday to discuss GCS.

I'm excited and anxious and yet also more than a little disappointed. I was busy preparing for guests that were visiting last night when made the call so I had the call on speaker. This had the effect of also including my very supportive girlfriend in on the call, so she was able to witness the manner in which my requests for information and the consultation were handled.

Let's just say the word "obtuse" comes to mind. I'm still looking forward to going, but honestly, this entire process of trying to live our lives is hard enough. When we seek the assistance of those who are supposed to be dedicated to helping make it a little bit easier, it would be great if they didn't actually ADD to the list of problems.

I'll keep you all posted on how it went.
