Hey Ladies & Gents, I started transitioning 5 months ago. I had the most wonderful results I could ask for. I do want to announce one of the more mind blowing changes. My hairline grew back heavily, my boobs grew as well, but the most surprising to me is the feet changes. I use to wear 9 1/2 in men. I just tried on both my boy sneakers and realized that they shrunk!!! I fit into size 9 and 9 1/2 in women. Sometimes I just wear a 10, but it fits me too big sometimes. I believe I dropped went from 9 1/2 TO 7-8. I don't know the rough estimate. I'd have to keep testing, but this is very exciting change and I am wonder if anyone else went through this?

Hi Claire 🙋‍♀️ In the beginning I experienced much of what you have, save the hair (lucky to have kept all mine beforehand).
The ligaments between the bone can become elastic and dimensions can change.
Not for everyone it seems though.  Considering YMMV that's to be expected.

Hugs and smiles, Jessica

My feet shrunk as well!  So did my nose :)  I also went from 5'10.5 to 5'9 with my height.

I went from size 10.5-11 men's to size 11 women. I also lost an inch in height so far. I could live with another inch off.  :)

I hope that my US size 9 1/2 flipper shaped feet narrow down! They are great for swimming, but that is about it. Buying shoes can be a real pain.

I'm only a month in to HRT and I've dropped a half size too! Most of my female shoes actually fit comfortably now though my male ones I'm swimming in!

My feet shrank a bit. I fit a size 12 women's but my old well worn in work shoes are now way too loose.
I used to be over 5-11. Now I'm 5ft 10-1/5".

I could stand getting  a bit smaller. Both hieght and girth lol  ;D.   ::)

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

When I first read anyone's feet shrank from MTF HRT I thought... no way, not possible - them are bones under that soft tissue.  And then I experienced it.  Dropped a full shoe size.

Feet contain muscle and HRT changes that.

@ClaireXO
Hello Claire, it is nice to see your posting and to see you on the Forums.
YES, YES, YES.... as the others have stated, shoe/feet size does indeed get smaller as we transition...  I am certain that this may not be true for all MTFs on HRT but the majority of members do report what is being stated on your thread.
In my own experience I went down a full size and a half....  I have been on HRT for over 3 1/2 years.

Thanks for your posting...
Wishing you well,
Danielle

When you have size 15 feet that shrink you end up with still impossible to find size 14.

I have also experienced this surprise! It must be due to the reduction of muscle there.

Juju, for me it only took about 6 months.

I went down about a half size too. That change occurred in the first year of HRT.
