I agree with Dena.
Be strong, be ever progressing yourself, delving deep in your position. Work hard and look for opportunities, give them the best worker they ever had.
I wish I could fully agree with Dena. Despite my constant strive, hard work, and dedication at my own work, despite many many many issues. I wish not to slander the name as of yet, because there is still hope for HR to make the nondiscrimination policy stand out and for them to enforce and uphold it. Though I'm just simply tired of it and can't stand to work for a manager that is constantly disrespecting me despite his words of "its not discrimination..." With a few more words in which makes it 200% discrimination. Look back on a previous post of my own if you want to see what went on. And once I get wind of HR's choice, that is when either.... I can rest easy and hope they are more supportive of the transgender community, or I can potentially slander the company name, letting it tarnish under its own misfortune, (I guess it really is true the stores motto really is about revenge, rather than into the interpersonal connection it claims to have). I mean to be honest, when "flu season" was going on, there was a company commercial with very odd specifics and statistics about the flu, and having someone apparently either completely sick and still never calling in, and also some of I which can interpret as they would go to your house and get you sick.
I might just have given it away with those descriptors, but as of right now, until HR can change my mind, the company is discriminatory with no good cause.
Edit: Sorry I kind have veered off topic. But let me get it back on track.
Since I did live in Southern California, close by Disney Land for a little while, knew some people who had worked there. I would say that they are a strong company in which would be supportive. For the Disney company as a whole, or as of Disney World, I would like to say the same, but I cannot make any guarantees, but if you work hard, take as much opportunities, odd jobs that others stay away from. Make a name for yourself, make them, want and need you, bend over backwards if you can for in the future they will bend for you.
I was just not so lucky, especially since I live in California, more forwardly the San Francisco Bay Area, which just makes no sense for this kind of mindset for the business. All I know is once I'm gone, they are going to collapse on themselves as it is as they completely relied on me for so much, but I don't seem to want to care for their demise, as for they cared not for my own wellbeing.
