As some know I am a firearms instructor and work a lot with the Trans and gay community. I just got the call that a former student of mine left a store yesterday walking home and two men tried to jump her. Without any remorse she pulled her batton and broke 6 teeth and a cheek bone in one perp and the other she broke a knee as well as put the perp night night with a choke!!! She came to me everyday for a month and I told her some day it may keep her alive! Cops said she's a badass and gave her a ride home.

SADLY THE PUMPKIN PIE SHE WAS CARRYING DIDNT MAKE IT..... :'(

IM SO PROUD OF HER LADIES WE HAVE TO STICK UP FOR OURSELVES WHEN NOBODY IS AROUND!

YOU ARE AWESOME DON'T FORGET IT!!!!

Wow... that is quite a story and with a good ending for the lady, and not so good for the 2 guys that attacked her.
For sure, a batton can do serious harm if handled correctly....
... she is probably very thankful to you as her teacher...  kudos to you for helping and teaching her about keeping safe.

Too bad about the pumpkin pie, but that is easily replaceable.  And good news that the bad guys got what was coming to them in addition to what the legal system will hand out.

We're still waiting for further details but as of right now the police are labeling it as a hate crime that way they can serve the harshest punishment possible

It's great that it ended well :) Glad for you and for your student :)

Though where I am it'll probably bring one to jail. Our cops don't like self defence. So, pepper is our weapon of choice lol

I love happy endings! Glad the cops were so understanding and supportive. Which reminds me...  I need to renew my concealed carry.   :icon_yikes:
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)
