Well I started my Spyro and estradiol shots Saturday actually my wife administered it for me and it was funny because when she was done she said honey I think I broke the needle in your butt so we freaked out ended up sitting in the emergency room for 30 minutes actually I was standing and by the time we went to the triage she told us that it was a retractable syringe we didn't know😂😂😂 anyway I'm going to take notes and keep you informed of my experiences
@Jamie71 Dear Jamie:Well, this was certainly an "exciting" beginning to your HRT journey.... I trust that things will go much better for you with future injections and you won't have to spend time in the ER.
I had to chuckle, as hopefully you and your wife did when it was discovered that the needle was the retractable type and it wasn't broken off after all.
So, it sounds to me from what you wrote that your wife is on-board with your transition plans... that is wonderful for sure, not every transitioner has a supporting spouse at the beginning and sadly some are not having that kind of spousal support at all.
Yes, keep us all up to date with your future postings.
Thank you for sharing.
Wishing you well,
Danielle
