... what would it be called and what style of music would you play?

For me, the band name would be Garage Dress and the style of music would be movie suspense and drama. Though I have moved out of the closet, due to work and neighbor situations I have only moved to my open door garage to wear my dresses at home. Though I do move about more freely at night. Some might say I mostly come out at night, mostly.

Making progress but I need to be safe at home so there is still suspense and drama for me right now to break out completely. HRT IMO has not come along enough just yet (I could be wrong). My brain says I look good in the mirror so I'm at the point of just walking out of the house dressed when all the neighbors can see me. I'm still moving forward but with flashing yellow caution lights. Perhaps I'm being too cautious and I'm tired of hiding and I think I just need a little push to go further.

Dilator because most of my free time is spent dilating and post-rock because I really love groups such as Mogwai, Sigur Ros etc. (also, it is a play on post-op, which ties in with my band name)

Hmmmm, dunno - especially since as a lead guitarist, and singer (lead and backing vocals), I've done the band thing off and on for decades.  The music would be hard driving and metallic (yep uh luvs muh high gain distortion [I may be in my mid 50s, but don't forget that my generation, was the Motorhead generation, and the first generation of the thrash metal kids]), bebop jazz (I love to play jazz guitar, when I play clean), or acoustic Americana (I'd love to perform live with my nice, expensive, Gibson J-35 acoustic guitar).  Maybe the name (which would reflect my state of mind) would be:

Alive And Loving It!!!!

Hey, what can I say?  I've been post-op for a decade and half.
