They will get hit every once and awhile, this even happen after you have them for years; there are times when you turn or try to slide through someplace and get them hit, sometimes hard enough to really hurt. Guys do the same protecting their testes; i have seen guys get hit below and rounds on the ground holding their parts tight in so much pain.
