So hello folks.  Last week I posted about an idea I have for a product for tucking,  and rightfully got flack for trying to make money from something on a support site.  So Here I have an idea that may actually help people with tucking.  I do not like duct tape or gaffs, and do not want to wear super tight or double layers of panties.

One way that I found works very well, though may need changed occasionally through the day, and when done right even gives appearance of a camel toe.

Basically,  you take a strip of cloth tape,  I use sport tape, but medical will do as well though I find more irritating.  I use about a 2.5 inch long strip, 1.5 inch wide.  I tuck my testicles up in front of pubic bone,  mine go pretty easily now since I have been on spironolactone for couple of months.  Then, while holding testicles up there with a couple of fingers,  I then grab the scrotal tissue from each side of the penis and pull it firmly forward around the base of the penis.  Then while holding it in place, and making sure the skin is dry,  I apply the tape firmly to one side, then pull snugly accross to the other side and press it firmly,   This holds the scrotal tissue tightly preventing the testicles from coming down.  Then you can just push the penis back and put your panties on.  Now this does pretty well,  of course you can also tape the penis up tightly if you need to make sure it does not show(like bending over),  but otherwise this holds well and again creates a camel toe.  It also allows me to wear the panties I want instead of tight or otherwise uncomfortable underwear, and it only takes a short strip of tape.  You could use a strip of duct tape or other if desired.  The only drawback is if you pee,  this may tend to put pressure on the urethra so you may find a good bit of dribble when you stand up,  I find this not too bothersome I just use a wad of toilet paper and squeeze and milk the urine out for a moment,  or you can take the tape off before you pee and then just apply another strip.  I am looking at options like adhesives that may take the place of tape but not sure that would work well.  Again this is simple and effective.

I apologize for giving you flack. In my defense, my hitch in the Army was in the Air Defense Artillery.  ;D

Thanks for sharing this with us. I never tucked, but I know the question is frequently asked here.

Devlyn,

Thanks,  I hated tucking when I tried the methods I have found.  This concept is so simple it is actually quite funny.  One short strip of tape, thats it.  it is actually not at all uncomfortable, though occasionally the tape will role or shift and might need adjusted or replaced,  but this plus my other concept I am working on as a marketable one are comfortable enough to wear all day at work and no problems.  The only thing with it is if you are more endowed than some of us or wearing very revealing pants or swimsuit,  it might show through the backside some,  which would be easy enough to use a piece of tape up the rear,  but most of the time I find I do not need this.and it gives a good 'camel toe'.  Most tucking problems I found was when the testicle forced its way down anyway which is quite painful and awkward.  This actually holds the scrotal tissue well and therefore the testicle has nowhere to pop out into.  I love this idea.  I am looking at maybe a reusable option that might be a soft silicone that maybe clips in place so that it is easy to remove and replace.

hugs,

I found my method you do not need a gaff.  a simple 2-3 inch piece of cloth tape.  push testes up in front of pubic bone,  pull scrotal tissue around from both sides around the penis,  apply tape from one side over the front and to the other side making it snug.  the testes cannot move down ,  then just tuck the penis back, or if desired a piece of tape could work to hold the penis, though snug panties do the trick for me.  I use cloth sport tape or medical tape(medical is harder to remove)  It stays in place long,  even all day.  The only drawback is this squeezes the urethra a little so standing up after peeing there is some dribble,  might have to use toilet paper and milk the rest of urine out,  but I find this minor.  This really works and creates a good camel toe as well.  I wear leggings in public without anything showing.   You should try it. I tried all the other methods and found them very uncomfortable or lacking.  This was solved with a simple strip of tape, not uncomfortable(occasionally the tape will itch a little but not often,  and if the tape shifts or rolls, but have not had too many problems with it.  Just make sure not to completely encircle the penis and scrotal tissue as this might create too tight constriction and really is not necessary.I can buy two rolls of cloth sport tape at the dollar store for 3 dollars and enough there for many uses.

A couple of notes on my method.  One,  if you are careful you can wrap the tape pretty much all the way around.  I tuck the testes up inside and then pull scrotum around both sides and wrap a piece of tape around one side to the other,  being careful to not make too tight.  Drawback is sometimes this puts pressure on the urethra so when you pee there may be some drips after,  but just wipe well(I use a very small pantyliner just in case, but so far no real problems.  Of course if wearing leggings and do not want anything showing from behind then a strip of tape front to back can take care of that,  but I never was well endowed so it is normally not a big issue for me.  By wrapping tape all around with the scrotal tissue wrapped around to the front you prevent the testes from being able to move down.  And it really does not have to be too tight.  Another way I do it is take a couple of strips of tape and make a narrow V shape, each strip about 8 inches long,  then i put a short piece across the vertex of the V,  then I do the same push testes up and wrap scrotum around base of penis,  then apply the vertex of the tape above the base of the penis,  then pull one leg of the V down and under and affix to the inner buttock,  leaving room in case you have to have a bowel movement,  then do the same with the other side.  This method works well but I find if I sit down to pee a testicle might pop down through,  though not a big problem I just push it back up,  but this way you can add more tape at the vertex allowing you to actually pull the penis back and hold it up somewhat.

I have never tucked, and have no plans to do so.  My question is, why do you tuck?  Aren't you on estrogen and you genitalia has shrunk enough that it is hardly visible anymore when you wear "normal" clothing?  Just the thought of having to manipulate my testes the way you describe makes me hurt, and in addition to that all the fumbling around with tape, etc.  And having to redo it each time when one needs to go to the bathroom!

Hence my question, why do you tuck?

Well,  it takes a good while for spironolactone and estrogen to shrink testes.  it also does nothing for penis size, which luckily am not well endowed.  it does not hurt at all, and after few times do not even notice.  However the ways I have tried are not very comfortable,  my discovery is very comfortable and I can go all day with no problems or discomfort.  Of course with dresses I do not need to tuck,  but with leggings or pants I do for self confidence.  As a nurse I do not wear scrubs,  usually skirts or dress slacks but I deal with military patients as I work in a military clinic and am very self conscious, though I pass pretty well some patients give me a wierd feeling.  It helps to know I am tucked and nothing shows.  There is absolutely no discomfort or anything.  I have only been on hormones and spiro 2.5 months, and it can take 6 months to a year for any significant shrinkage to occur.

Also,  my method requires no redoing of the tape,  you can pee without removing anything.  Of course if you are wearing something like a swimsuit a good taping might be needed but otherwise my simple 3 inch strip of sports tape which holds well but does not irritate the skin does the job, and lasts all day.  I put on before leaving for work and take it off at night.  Simple yet effective.  A snug pair of panties actually does the rest,  but with this I can actually wear any panties as I have many to choose from, without tucking some of them do not hold things in well.  with tucking no problems.

Now I understand. I am intersex, and my hardware down there seems to be on the way out anyway.  My testes have about the size of hazelnuts now, and my penis tries to engage in hide and seek games.  My testes hurt when I touch them hard, but because there is not much left, there is also not much to hide.

I am not even on any hormones yet, but still am converting already pretty heavily (breast growth, etc), because my body decided so.

When I first tried tucking it hurt like hell.  Then I played around and figured it out.  the front of the pubic bone is the natural hiding place for the testes, it is where they are at birth.  They slide right up there, though took a little practice.  Doing the way I do and using tight panties makes a camel toe appearance sort of.  I have several methods I use depending on what I am wearing.  Even with skirts or dresses I still tuck as it gives me self confidence and most of the time do not have to redo it, occasionally the tape will work around and then I have to retape,  but usually it is just the short piece,  pull scrotum around penis and tape across,  this holds it in place preventing testes from moving down.  I did find if the tape is not just right it might cause a little discomfort if the testes try to move down,  but at this point they almost stay put with very little,  except when sitting on toilet then pressure tries to push them down,  but even taking the short piece of tape off and putting another on is quite easy,  I always carry a small bit of tape in my purse for that purpose in case of an accident so to speak.

And there is my problem, because there is not much to pull around and not much to be pulled around.  That little bit I have left down there hardly shows up.  And I still like to wear my male briefs because of the ease of urinating in public restrooms.
I made my living in infection control & prevention, and the idea to have to sit on one of those toilet seats gives me nightmares.  I think that this phobia I have against public toilet seats is larger than any dysphoria I ever can have!
Once I had bottom surgery, I have to re-learn how to urinate in public bathrooms standing up!

I am a nurse but have no problems with bathrooms,  of course finding clean stalls is the issue.  Even without much to wrap around,  taking a couple of 6-8 inch strips of tape ,  push the testes up,  place a strip of tape on one side a couple inches above penis and pull snugly down just to the side of the base of penis and then tape to inside of thigh/buttock,  then do the same on the other side,  works like a charm, though sitting down the testes may push out,  but easy to push back in place.

Thanks, I might have to try this.
My psychologist wants me to start wearing more female stuff, because she feels it is important to get over my dysphoria.  I bought a pair of Capris yesterday, and put them on to go over to my girlfriend (nothing romantic about our relation), to have her to check if she could see my genitals.  She did not see anything, and I just may have lost enough mass down there that I might not even need forced tucking.  Everything I have left moves between my legs anyway when I put underwear on.  This means, I may be tucking without even planing it?

Great thread and thank you all for posting.

I must admit I wanted to tuck for years but was afraid to try, then one morning I woke up and my panties (I sleep in them as I don't like things moving around) had twisted and pushed one of my testes up inside my body.  I panicked at first but realised what had happened and tried the other by hand and it just went in, no pain, so then tucking became a thing for me.  I love how it feels as if there is nothing down there and that make me feel more feminine and happy.  ;D

So far my method of tucking works very well.  I do get minor irritation from the tape at times but very minimal.  a simple two or three inch strip of tape keeps everything where it should.  If I wanted to wear a bikini then I just use really good medical tape and put a long piece front to back to hold the penis up tight,  otherwise I really just need to keep the testes in place and am good to go.

Aren't accidental discoveries great? We had a winter a few years ago that left snow on the ground for a week (very rare here) or so and I played with my kids as often as I could. My crotch was cold a damp all the time and I worked in a grocery store meat department, so I was never warm and awake that week. Well, those parts shrunk and pulled in like I have never seen before. Had no idea that "the shrinkage" could be that extreme. I was flat. Totally flat. It was great. Up until then, I figured I was more cross dresser than trans gendered, but it seemed so natural to be flat. It was another week before things were back to normal. I was able to wear leggings with no tucking and there was nothing to show. So, I accidentally discovered I was more trans than cross dresser. I know I won't transition, but it does help me to understand the depth of how and why I feel the way I feel.

That is the difference.  I hardly have any testes left (hazelnut size), and my penis has shrunk very much, to.  I was wearing stretch leggings today, and one could not see anything resembling male genitalia.  Nature seems to play along with me, growing nice breasts and removing those pieces down there.
