We just got a new hot tub. It's been years since we had one - but when we did DD always loved getting in the hot tub and relaxing. Now that she is transitioning, she is going to need a new swimsuit. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions.  She is really thin and has started to develop a little on top, but barely an A cup.  I want to get her something that she can relax in and not be self-conscious. TIA

That was not my first thought, when I read the subject.   ;)
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

lol thought same ditto! Look on ebay just purchased women's black, short cut, loose fit draw-string boardshorts for less than many places charge just for shipping! lol Luv 'em they've become my house uniform when not "Y"ing with grandbabies.

"barely an A cup" eh? Personally I'd like a form-fitting one-piece tank but @ Y Not!

Be wary of *sizing* consult vendor charts  ;)
"But it's no use now," thought poor Alice, "to pretend be two people!
"Why, there's hardly enough of me left to make one respectable person!"

Since I am pre-op finding nice swimsuits is always a bit of hassle.

I did result primarily to skirted bottoms and tankini's. Usually, swimsuits without pre-formed cups are flexible, so they somewhat well adjust to small cup sizes.
My thought was that I want to cover my bottom with lots of fabric to distract. I also realized very quickly after starting HRT that I do not want to go into the pool without some kind of top. (well, at least in a public one, there is always the one in my backyard) I did start out with rash guards and then went to tankini's and I have a one piece suit with a  skirted bottom...
