Hi.  Has anyone heard of this surgeon, or have any experience of him, direct or indirect?   I am considering using him for a Scar Revision, but notice that a general search here for his name yields little.   I have to ask why.

Also, should I be alarmed that the General Medical Council website says he has a warning for not getting Consent Forms properly signed on about 5 occasions.  He also added notes without getting them countersigned by the patient (s).    The website does say that though this is significant, it is not so serious as to render him a bad surgeon.  Or words to the effect.    So I should be ok.  I think.  I don't know.....what do you all think?

He seems to have had lots of experience in MTF GRS surgery.    Any advice greatly received.  Or indeed recommendations for any other surgeons.

Megan.

The was a UK TV mini series called Transformation Street that featured that surgeon and some of his patients - one of whom is personally known to me (not on this site).

@Megan.  Hi and thank you for the advice.  Do you remember if the coverage of Mr Inglefield on Transformation Street was positive or negative?   Also, is your friend happy with her results?  Thanks

Megan.

I can't speak about positive or negative, without personal experience i would never comment directly about someone.

I'll msg my friend and I'll PM you any response I get. X

I spoke with my friend, but I was mistaken, it was Mr Bellringer,  not Inglefield who performed her GRS. Sorry I can't help more - but see if you can access that TV series. X

All three episodes seem to be available online, just search for Transformation Street and look for the Vimeo link. Christopher Inglefield features throughout and comes across well.
