Cross your fingers for the makers of "For the Bible Tells Me So," a film about families with gay children that includes the family of Atlanta lesbian Tonia Poteat. According to the Mankato Free Press, the film is on a short list of about 15 in the running to be nominated in the Best Documentary category for the 2008 Academy Awards.
