There is one thing I forgot to mention.  My therapist said that she will only allow me to change in her office a couple of times.  After that, she's going to have me come in to her office dressed.  I'm scared of being dressed in public even for a moment, but I'm excited as well!!

Becoming me more every day!!!

Going to therapy dressed was also a step in my process. It took years for me to get that far. But now I try to do it every time we meet in person (which is less than it used to be).

Congratulations Danielle Kristina. That is a huge milestone.

You're at the point now where I used to travel up to Baltimore from Sterling Virginia to go to the support group and dinner as me and where I got the first experiences out in public. If you are feeling up to it, these kind of outings can really help boost your confidence when outside.

We all started somewhere...find those safe spaces to start with and work your way from there. I started with  eye liner...and then was terrified my world was going to collapse but as I added an new elements each time I began to get more feminine in my dress and it slowly but surely got easier and simpler...Once you go forward you won't want to go back  ;) :)

Take care
