Hello everyone.

This is a question for those of us who have had penile inversion SRS.

How does the internal lining of the neovagina feel to you? How does it behave? Do you feel as though it's changed into somewhat of a mucosa? Does it exude an odor?

Thanks.

I'm just over one year post-op and, outside of influence from lube, have little mucosa. Most probably comes from the excess length of the urethra that's now inside. Those without this probably have something different to say. The smell is usually not detectable over the urine smell since some finds it's way inside. Feel is just like cis minus lubrication.

I am a few years post op any my experience is the same as Michele's. I have no odor, but I do douche about once a month just to keep things clean down there. There is little mucosa and after about one inch inside the vagina, I have no feeling. Dilation is normal and painless.

I'm at just over 6 months post op and I've been dealing with hypergranulation, which sadly is not all gone yet.  I've had constant discharge for months, which doesn't really assist in dilation, so I suspect I won't have much self lubrication.
