Does Spiro Really Cause More Harm Than Good?

Okay so I found an article a little while ago

It's about a case study a number of doctors did where they learned Spiro actually caused more problems then it helped.

And like, normally I wouldn't just automatically believe an article that was recommended to me, no matter who did the recommending, but like, I see so many things listed among the problems it can cause that I have in fact been dealing with.

The constant exhaustion, the increased anxiety, the brain fog and memory issues. Plus on the physical side of things I do have a bit of a stomach despite being pretty thin everywhere else, and I have virtually no hips to speak of.

Plus my breasts are barely there, despite being on the hormones for almost 1 year 8 months.

And my exhaustion and anxiety have especially been getting worse the past few months since the doctor upped my spiro dosage.

So like, is all of this true? And if so, like, should I consult my doctor about being weened off the spiro? I mean, I can't do estradiol injections like the article says, I have an intense phobia of needles. I can barely stand the blood tests I have to do every few months. So like do you think the estradiol and progesterone would be enough? I mean despite my t levels always having been to high, my e levels are very good, and always have been.

Anyway, last thing, for anyone who has gone through this, being on spiro for over a year and then stopping, is there any chance the negative effects it had on me will reverse over time and I'll eventually be how I should be, or am I basically stuck with things like my stomach and lack of hips for the rest of my life now?

I really don't understand why Spiro is so widespread.. from everything i've read and heard, Androcur (cyproterone acetate) is both a way more effective AA and has much less severe side effects?

Any 'real' side effects to androcur are usually linked to many times higher dosages than are typical for MTF HRT.....

I'm on Spironactone on my first year and it was correct my Potassium level for me to continue with my HRT with higher dosages. You need to slowly lower your hormones dosages, and never stop them cold turkey.
