Does HRT halt dysphoria?

Dear Katie!
We are all so very different and HRT can have so many different effects on individuals but I believe it will help in one way or another. HRT has actually brought me back from the deepest depression no one should ever have to experience. For me, the physical and emotional changes have been life saving.

But that is my own experience. Because of the diversity in each individual, it would be impossible to say how it will work for you. The best advice would be to talk with your doctors and therapist.

It takes time for the changes from HRT to take place. For some, months for others, years. In this case, patience is a virtue!
