Be Like Others - This feature-length documentary is a Canada/UK/USA/Iran coproduction about sex change in Iran. While homosexuality is punishable by death under Islamic law, sex-change operations are not only legal, they are, ironically, embraced by a society that accepts male or female but nothing in between. As a result, Iran's gender-reassignment industry is in a veritable boom and that's what this film explores.
