Do you prefer to wear female clothes that are more loose or more snug?

I prefer the looser fit, such as an A-line skirt or a comfy oversized sweater

I prefer the body-hugging snug fit, such as a pencil skirt, yoga pants, or skinny jeans.

I noticed that my pants that I will wear today are hugging my rear a tad bit more.
They are showing a little bit of roundness but that is all I have anyway!

I am glad I have a purse to keep my wallet in, as I like the look of my smooth rear not being blocked by a pocket with a wallet in it.  Did I gain weight down there or did I dry these pants with too much heat?  Or could it be my butt grew just a tad?  I just do not know.

I wonder if anyone else will notice today.  Strange as it may sound, I sort of want that to be noticed.

What has got into me?  I am really quite a modest woman.

Nobody said anything yesterday that they noticed but I did not expect anyone to say anything.  I noticed and that is enough.  Today I am back to pants that have a bit more room back there.  As the pants as larger, they have more material, so at least to my eyes, they make my hips look wider.

It is a more casual day so I wore what I call one of my more curvy jeans and a red top.

This Friday is more of a casual day so I am wearing jeans and a pink print top (a pink floral tunic).  These dark blue straight leg jeans are a bit tighter than usual around my hips so it feels snug.

My preference for clothing is snugger, tighter, and form fitting.
      "bring on the Spandex"
 
For many people, as long as they have the curves and figure that allows
a good look for the stretchy tight tops and bottoms, go for it. 

For some activities and outings (especially I am when involved in my business outings) ...
... a looser fit for tops, bottoms, and dresses can be very appropriate.

Business attire for business or office employment keeps one looking professional.

You don't need someone staring at your chest when you are trying to explain to them why they owe thousands of dollars in back taxes.  ;D

That would be true.
They would not be looking at all that much though if they were staring at my chest.
Still, professional attire is appropriate.

I'm looking forward to after my bariatric surgery when I have really shrunk, to be able to wear just about anything that I'd like too, since I'm finding that in women's clothes the bigger you are the less selection of patterns and designs there are.

At times I will wear more clingy clothing than the usual.  The clothes still needs to be comfortable though.

Women's clothes in general are a bit more snug, given the same/similar outfit to a man. It's just something you have to deal with as MTF, unlesss you go with the hoodie/leggings combo which is somewhat popular.

Seven years after I first posted I'm now mowing the yard wearing a Hello Kitty crop tank top.
My most revealing top is a crochet crop top I found on revolve.com.  My waist has gone from 28 inches in 2018 to 23 inches in 2025, five inches less!  I also wear stretchy athletic wear from JoFit.
