I can't help but to think about my sister. She had implants many years ago. I worry for her health as well as all of us trans women.

This is a risk associated primarily with textured implants, which the surgeons at Kaiser NorCal won't use because of this.

In my own case I will be using smooth surface lightly cohesive implants.  The odds are good that these will outlast me!

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
