I had to Google that Rachel to see what it was......  :-)

And sorry, but I can't stand macaroni cheese

So for me has to be going back in time and being born as cisgirl or at least going back to have an important conversation with my teenage self.

:o   NEMACBFTW!

It isn't hard at all to make a wish. The difficultly lies in how to make what you wish for a reality

Nissan girl? I'd love a 71 2000GT-R Hako, but mom life limits me to my Nismo Juke lol

What would I want? It's a toss up. Universal acceptance for everyone sounds pretty ideal to me but I think I would settle for my family getting over their homophobia and transphobia

Totally fair trade off. I wish I knew more about actually working on the cars I have. They wouldn't cost me as much lol. The hardest thing I've ever done was install coils on my Miata and that took me a day and a half lol.

You see you have to learn, garage guys just keep ripping people off.
I'm so glad I learned how to do it myself and have my lift in now and everything!

I'm trying to get better. Luckily my best friend is a master tech and doesn't charge a lot to fix my mistakes lol. I'm good when it comes to body work and detailing but I usually get lost with mechanical things. The problem usually intensifies after I touch it.

I mean I can fumble my way through that. I'm more the paint and finishing work type of person. The most I've welded was a wagon I built for my son

Besides all the correct girl parts.

I think I'd like a 15 inch gauge miniature steam train. I could quickly forget all my problems as I get lost in working on a steam engine. The British Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway 15 inch gauge is my favorite. I love English locomotives and would love to have one. There's some nice videos on youtube of the RHDR if anyone would like to see what a 15 inch gauge steam engine looks like.

Hey, that looks slick!  Great job.  Did you lengthen the box, as well?

Mine is a 2005 Scion tC that I have a fully built race motor spec'd to 900~1000WHP, depending on the turbo and fuel.  I was building toward a road/track car, more curves than straight line.  That all had the skids put on when I got injured in the Navy.  Once my HRT gets started and balanced, I am hoping that it will free up the old brain bucket to go find a job without sacrificing my mentally capacity to keep my agonizing nerve pain pushed to the back of my mind (meds don't help).  My other issue is that I have not garage to work from or out of, so the job will hopefully provide the much needed fundage for this girl to get her garage.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

See, that is the reason why I raised my son to be a master mechanic, and run a shop!

Have you ever tried to take large dosses of Gabapentin?  Or elektrostimulation (TENS) might help with the pains!

Labis are working hard on these, and one of these days they may make a break through!  As long as there is enough funding available, it will work!

My dad wasn't much of a mechanic lol. I learned basic maintenance and can do brakes and things like that but keep me away from the engine. I did build a stroker 302 94 f150 lightning clone once with a lot of help from a friend. It ran for a month. Then I got stupid, raced my friends STI and I blew it up. I win the race if that counts lol. My downfall was the pushrods. I used the wrong length. They looked like pretzels when my friend took it all apart.

I don't get it. Me and car engines don't get along. I can do motorcycles all day though.

I could tear any engine down and rebuild it providing I have the right tools to do the job. I'm partial to the older big and small block V8 American muscle. The GM Quad 4 was not a bad engine either.

Ah that we machine is badass, I can't weld atall. Hopefully in the new year I will start to learn and buy myself a MIG welder.
It's a skill I need with my older cars who need some welding done.

Ah so did you build the motor yourself?. Seems a strange platform to build on but I suppose the sleeper style is also a good one to go for. Catches the unsuspecting noobs out lol.

My Supra is only BPU so sitting around 400bhp, she is very responsive and a very point and shoot kind of car now. Full decat really helps her breath, KW coilovers keep me solid and TRD strut brace really stiffened up my steering when it comes to switching directions quickly. Next up for me as regards ride would be upgrading my ARBs.
I would consider a rear strut brace but it would cause me to scarifice the stock look.
My car was too perfect so I was forced to avoid doing crazy mods like big single turbo and all that.
I love her though, you can check her out on my Instagram : Rachel_Christina_2JZ

I have a TENS but it is hard to apply the pads to my lower cervix spine where all my issues derive from.  I can consistently point to where it hurts but the Docs all scratch their heads.  They simply refuse to take any course of action to figure out what the problem actually is.  My new VA Primary Doctor is also my Transgender Care Doctor.  She is, herself, a Trans, so I am hoping that she will be loads more compassionate and actually want to have what the damage actual is.  It has gotten worse and spread throughout my body over the years.  Who knows, I could be paralyzed in a few more years.

As for the Gabapentin, it and all the rest of the meds that they put me on (nerve pain, heavy painkillers, psychotherapy) hardly made a dent in the pain threshold. What they did do is make my quality of living a living hell.  It damaged my short term memory, making it hard to remember new or little used information.  It is like that handheld communicator to Ziggy (AI) in Quantum Leap that Den Stockwell's character has to keep smacking to get it to work.  I complained about this to a new Doc over at the VA and he put me on some new whizbang new drug just coming out of trials.  I asked him about my current drug schedule and he said to keep it up till the new drug has time to take effect.  I asked him about compatibility/drug interaction, and he said that they "should" be fine.  6 days later in the VA Lobby, I dropped like a sack of potatoes waiting for the elevator. My breathing and heart stopped and had to be revived twice.  So in essence, the VA killed off my former self.
