Arianna Valentine

Yeah um so i am new here obviously.  I am really not sure what to put here so I guess I can throw it all out there....
I'm 36 male trying to get the insurance and such to become who I am meant to be which is female.  I do have a split personality but for some reason it tends to work differently for me than most.  Basically we share can talk with each other mentally and can also block the other so they do not know what is going on in real life.  I have 3 kids 2 of the three are alive the 3rd sadly passed when she was a week or so old.  Was raped by my older step-brother from when I was around 8 years of age until I was around 18 (I was a small and feminine looking person and didn't have the size or courage to say no more until i was 18).  Even though I still have male parts I tend to go by the name Arianna valentine which is the name my split personality came up with to be our new name when we can finally become who we were meant to truly be.  I do think that is about it for the introductions.  Oh and i take care of my 65 year old father whom has stage 4 COPD and is former army.  So that does make me kind of scared to make the change as well me being from a mostly military family with very little tolerance for gays/bi and transgenders.

Welcome to the club Arianna Valentine.  I hope you are in a support group for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.  My best friend who is gone now had the same issues so I have a small sense of how deeply troubling that can be.  I know what it's like too to be in homophobic/transphobic family, but you will find, I think, that not all in the family have fallen for that #&!$.
I'm so glad you are finding your authentic self.

Well as far as a survivor group no I have never been to one and do not really require it.  It's not because it doesn't bother me or anything I have always looked at it and many other things as a grain of salt.  I think the reason why my life has been so difficult it to let me have a perspective on what really matters sort of.  Yes that did happen but I got a best friend out of it in my split personality Arianna.  I think it also helps that my favorite field of study is Psychology and the human mind so i kind of get to treat myself and I have a few friends that i can talk to that help me a lot as well.  But I thank you very much and as far as my family goes they couldn't even accept that my niece is a lesbian.  Yet they find it very amusing that my niece and nephews can all go to a bar and my niece gets hit on all night and my nephews get nothing.  However my niece knows that she has my support no matter what.

My heart goes out to you Arianna Valentine, over the loss of your daughter and for being raped by your older step-brother as child.

I am the only girl in my Multiple Personality (Disocciative Identity) Disorder System. Primary was misdiagnosed as transsexual when I became self aware so I have some idea of the road you are on. He was in therapy for 2 years before our brain let him begin to understand he had been deluding himself about the impact the things he thought were "a grain of salt" had on his mind and life. The last 8 years have been really really hard. But things didn't start getting better until Primary finally accepted he wasn't transsexual and we began trauma recovery therapy to work through the horrible things that had happened when we were small.

I thank you very much and it was about the same with myself and Arianna i did not find out about her until i was around 25ish and i was in a really bad head on collision and my seat-belt failed on me she was in the hospital for a little over a week and protected me during the wreck and at the hospital as well.  So her and I have come to an agreement that we can share and either can take over when they wish to it only seemed fair after all that she endured for me to take away the pain of the events.

You are a good Primary! Nobody can be happy unless everybody is happy.
Primary has the body 5 days. I have it 2. That's all I can stand before I need to turn things back to Primary. I was primary in junior but it was easier being a kid.

Well it sounds like you have a good working relationship with your primary as well.  But yeah her and I have no set amount of days or set days or anything she tells me she wants to come out and she does it works very well for us.  of course most of the time when she wants to come out is when I am playing a video game she thinks is interesting looking then she wants a go at it.  But when i do get my gender change i think she will be out a lot more lol.

Dear Arianna:
I have been wanting to ask you about any of your other threads that you may use as a personal journal so that your readers can be able to "follow" you....
... and this thread is the one you have chosen to show at the bottom of each of your posted pages,
but it seems to be very abandoned since the last post authored by you was almost 2 years ago!!!

Just sayin........
Hugs,
Danielle
