Dances With Trees

Not to delve too deeply into the macabre, but an old friend of mine recently passed away. For whatever reason and more than 50 years ago, we discussed preferred 'funeral songs.' In a few weeks, I will play (as loud as I can) 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' by the Rolling Stones at a small cemetery at the edge of a small town in western Montana. Personally (in case any of you are taking notes), 'Blue Bayou' (Linda Ronstadt version) is at the top of my after the bucket is kicked list tunes. (I listened to both earlier today on YouTube but have no idea how to post such things).

My favorite instrumental. You may recall it as the theme song from "The Exorcist".

One source says that when Mike Oldfield recorded Tubular Bells in 1973, he was just 19 years old — and he played almost every instrument on the album himself. Another source says that he played more than 20 instruments on the record.
