What do you think about having "a little testosterone"?

I don't want to talk so much so, my testosterone is at 0.10 (other times at 0.05 and the minimum at a woman is 0.04).

As suppressors of puberty I am with decapeptyl since I was 12 years old, and with spironolactone since I started with estrogen 1 year ago.

But what good is having a little testosterone? we can't live without having any testosterone? the fact of knowing that there is a little of it I don't like, and I suppose that testosterone that I have is what I have in the adrenal glands, but it does not matter ...

I do not think age has anything to do with it, so just give me your views on why you think it's necessary to have testosterone in the body, apart from the reproduction that does not interest me because I know I'm sterile because my FSH and LH are suppressed

so, answer my question pls :3

I was wondering if it helped me to not have testosterone I my body.

"Zeroing" if I can say that.

Maybe it's easyr to make a decision on my gender when I don't have any hormones in the body to influence the answer.

Ok?

Am I still a idiot to you?

But the hormones and all this is a serious matter and not something you decide to put and then remove right away if you did not like "the effects", maybe this is why your doctor or therapist does not prescribe antiandrogens or hormonal blockers.

Also, if she talked about losing your sexual desire, and how will she know your medical history and about you, then, is your sexual desire something important for you and a motivator in which you want to be a woman also physically?

I think an authentic transition (which ever way you go) has the proper balance of estrogen and testosterone.   I've been hormone free (cancer) and it was horrible.  I've also tried all one and next to none of the other and it screwed me up.

My T level is right at the upper normal range for a woman, and far below normal male levels. I feel good and my doctor is happy with the numbers, that's a win/win situation in my book.

It's not THAT serious, a competent doctor can run a trial on you without much risk. Not everyone wants all of "the effects", some people just need enough mental relief to let them function day to day without a full social and medical transition.

Maybe with adults if they do that, but not with minors xd.

Anyway, mine is gender binarism, i feel a woman, and i'm a woman, and i wanna be the same like my girl partners, and maybe not all people are like that, but then do not call themselves "trans".

Trans, is to transition, it's like saying that because a man wears a dress, but does not feel gender dysphoria is already a trans person when gender dysphoria is the only thing that makes you trans.

That's not how we interpret transgender around here. Transgender is self diagnosed condition. A gender dysphoria determination is merely required for surgical intervention.

I sincerely hope you aren't suggesting that only binary identified people can call themselves transgender?

"maybe not all people are like that, but then do not call themselves "trans".

Under that logic, they also consider trans someone who calls themselves "fluid gender"?

It sounds more like a confused person, and I would not support someone who calls himself trans, who supposedly is, dresses like a woman and everything, but at the same time has no problem with being called "him"?

Ehmmm ..... we're supposed to be in the "Man to Woman" section, not anything else.

All women have some testosterone.  There is nothing you can do about it.  If you're transitioning to match your body with your female mind you will still have testosterone.  If you were AFAB you will have some testosterone.  Even if you have a orchi or GCS you will still have testosterone.

My T is always in female range.

I'm not sure why yours is so high.  Maybe talk to your doctor about Progesterone.  I don't not take any AA's.  They are not needed.

I would recommend talking to your doctor and get a second or third opinion.  I'm sorry your T is so high.  I hope you find a way to lower it soon.
I've taken what others have offered, so now I'm giving back.

Yes, exactly. I'm genderfluid. I'm not confused at all.

It's disappointing to hear that you don't support the identities of all trangender people.....on a transgender support site of all places. Sure this is the MTF subforum, but it's still a public area of the site. Everyone can read, post, and hopefully.....find support and advice here.

Then why are you complaining?  Do you want your T lower or not?

So why in the gender part do you have yourself as a "female" and not a fluid gender? or you change your status according to your emotion?

That was the point, in the end I am clear that we need to have testosterone in some form, hormonal blockers like triptorelin leave you testosterone at castration levels (0.10) so in reality I am normal, under your logic that it is not need antiandrogens or hormonal blockers, I remind you that I am 15 years old, in addition, people who only take estrogen, take immense doses to lower testosterone, I prefer to have to take a few doses of estradiol, and have my testosterone safe with hormonal blockers And so I'm sure I will not grow an Adam's apple, or have a beard or a raspy voice :)

While you started your treatment after puberty, I started without reaching the blow of male puberty.

I see what you are saying now.  I interpreted what you wrote differently.  Yes, Adam's apples are horrible to have.  I was very blessed that my transition went well and relatively easy.  T did not do too much damage to my body.  But my Adam's apple I had to have it reduced with surgery.  It's still there though.

I'm very happy you were able to figure everything out at a young age.

Best wishes!

Hi Astxl;

You should talk to your endocrinologist about prescribing Micronised Progesterone (I take Promethium which is available in Australia). My T is also under 0.9, but I found I needed some boost for my Libido and I have for the last year been on a cyclical Progesterone and Oestrogen regime. Oestrogen only for Days 1 to 16, then combined from days 17-30.
It is a big help.

Note I have never needed T Blockers as my T started at just 5.7.

I see what you are driving at, and no, it won't help you.. Teenage girls have adrenal glands, these glands produce a range of androgens, T included. They progress through puberty with normal female adrenal T levels, this doesn't cause them to grow a visible trachea or facial hair.

You also seem to have some very wrong ideas about hormones, whether they are for adults or teens. At 15, I'm surprised you are not on leuprorelin or similar, which is a puberty suppressor.
This is not medical advice. Always consult your doctor.

I think you don't understood very well, my puberty suppressant is decapeptyl (triptorelin), as far as I know, it is better than the suppressors you named in effectiveness, the spironolactone was given to me in combination with estrogen, but I still with decapeptyl, LOL.

The time I will leave the hormone blockers will only be when I am sure that my testosterone will not rise, and it will be when I have my sex reassignment surgery.
