Hello from Elizabeth

Hello everyone,

I just registered on the forum today. I am 48, and started taking otcqx medicines to try starting the mtf changes after my birthday this month on the 18th. I have always had a feminine desire about me since I was in my teens. I remember as a teenager I would dress as a woman for Halloween. Throughout the years I have dressed in women's clothing in private. I have always loved the feminine feeling I got when doing this.

Anyways, I decided on my birthday to atart taking meds to begin my transformation. Right now I am sticking to OTC meds from vitamin shops and online orders. I am nervous, scared, excited all at the same time.

I hope to get to know some of you very well in the future.

Right now I am sticking to OTC meds from vitamin shops and online orders.

Why not go for hormones?  They'd be far more effective.  Depending on where you live, they may be available on informed consent.  That's what my plans are.

As to why not hormones... I have family that will not understand. ( I would be disowned by my mother ). Until I figure out how to tackle that obstacle I will proceed steadily but slowly. Also I am concerned with the blood clot factors with hormones. I drive a truck for a living.
