..hoping the weekend will be even better.
This week was the week I started to come out to all my clients and companies I work with, and
today was the first day I met a client as my true self and all the time I was correctly gendered, she, her, Jessica as we worked on a lighting product. It was awesome.
The day before I spoke to the tech director of the company I do most of my work for and as everyone I have spoken to he was very supportive. I was concerned that they may think that their clients would be an issue, he said he would speak to the MD
Well during today while I was having fun working on the processor code used to control the lighting I got a phone call from the TD. He said he had spoken to the MD and HR and everything is OK for me to present as female to all clients and he will break the ice with all the current projects clients. I am totally over the moon.
Those that know my home situation will know I cannot currently be myself at home, but now I can go to my office get changed and spend the whole day regardless of where I am going or going to see as ME.
This is only the start of the weekend. Tomorrow I am going to a meeting of a group of HiFi enthusiasts, with a forum meet followed by a show on Sunday. This means a hotel stay where I can be Me all weekend
This is such exciting time
