So I read some threads about losing muscles in this forum, but as they were kinda old, I just thought on doing a new one.

I'm one year on hrt, but my hrt is not a good one. I was on cypro and estradiol gel, I started on october 2017 and had to stop hrt completely on april 2018. I only was back on hrt on october 2018, but this time I have no blocker. Since then I' using only an injectable contraceptive here known as Perlutan. This is a Algestone acetophenide in combination with  estradiol enantate. My libido is out of service the same way as I was on blocker, so I'm only guesing my T is way down. It's kinda hard to me right now to have a decent blood test to see that.
I'm different from what I was before hrt. I do have less muscles. They are less "sharp" and more like round and flufy. everything was good until last week. I bought for the first time a blouse. It is a very short sleeve and I just noticed how much muscle I still have. Not only in my arms but around neck/shoulder too. It was the first time I figure out I need to have posture too... I always been like this manly posture with the shoulders and I'm fixing this right now.
I researched about losing muscles and saw some around this forum too, and here is what I'm doing.

Tuesday, thursday, saturday and sunday, I'm eating lunch only, jogging for about 20/30min, and eating something after the jogging.
monday, wednesday, and friday I'm not jogging, and eating lunch only.

What I usually eat on lunch: Rice, beans, and animal stuff (talking about protein). Sometimes potatoes and whatever that comes my way... lol What I'm trying to say, is that I eat lunch with no regret whatever it is.
What I usually eat after the joggin: chocolate milk, sometimes milk only. Bread, cookies, cakes, that kind of thing...

So... What you people think about this plan to lose muscle? I started this week, and it's kinda hard by the way... hungry on most of the time...

Are you trying to lose weight, or are you just trying to lose muscle? Because if you're trying to lose "bulk," losing weight is probably the better thing to do. But I don't know what your current weight is or what your weight target is.

No matter your strategy, I would definitely use a calorie tracker app, like MyFitnessPal or LoseIt. It's really important to have data behind your eating / exercise to make sure you're staying on target.

I'm staying off HRT to avoid losing muscle.  But, I've trimmed my waistline so that I easily fit into XS clothes.  There are plenty of cute XS clothes to buy, even on the deep discount rack.

I'm trying to lose muscles, not weight. Monday (february 11) I was 64kg, but I'm not worried about it, I really want to lose muscles, mainly at upper body, around chest, arm and shouder.

One week later...
I went to see my actual weight and... 64.30kg. That's the same numbers from last week. Which means I'm in doubt right now if this is working or not... lol
Fron now on I'm measuring my upper arm to see if there is a decrease of some sort.
Thing is, from all the info I managed to get, this was expected to happen. When I'm not eating, my body don't use fat but use muscles to get energy. But this was only one week, and I can't see any difference. Off course, there's lot of them around my body, not only my upper arms, but there is where I want them to vanish, so I'm measuring only there.

I'm changing my diet for one meal a day only. That's only lunch, except saturday and sunday when I'm eating normally. I'm jogging for about 25min on monday, tuesday, thurday and friday.

Take my word on this: If or when the boys are gone the muscle will go fairly quickly.

The boys? If you mean surgery, it will happen god knows when. I need to change things my way right now...  :/

Just to get this clear, I'm 25 year old. In the past I liked to train upper body but now I changed and I want to get rid of this shape.

I changed my plan for this again. I'm eating normally everyday and a 48h fasting one time a week. From what I learned, when you not eat for a long period of time, your body start using fat for energy when you are sleeping, and muscles when you are active. It usually happens after 12h without food. So to be reeeealy sure, I'm doing 48h (2 days) a week. Even when I eat after, my muscles will not regenerate, unless I do strenght workout. Or at least that's the plan

So, if this work, I'll let you people know later.

Good luck lulita,
I'm interested in losing muscle, but I get a lot of pushback from my circle of friends and family members, so I'm not actually doing anything about it right now. They all keep telling me I look fine and that I don't need to lose any muscle, so I shouldn't worry. It's nice having friends who care about me and tell me I look good already, so I guess I'm not worrying too much...

Sometimes, I just see masculinity when I look at my frame though...

A toned body is now in style for females.  I think one of trend setters was FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
Even VS models work on toned abs these days.

yeah, I used to like what I am, but not anymore. I changed and the way I look myself changed too.

Angela H. You're not doing what you want because of your friends and family? Even though they say you look fine, we all look fine in the end. But you need to change the things you don't like in yourself FOR yourself. Off course we don't need to challenge our health. But we can do things that makes us feel good without having to worry about others.

The ability to lose muscle is to some extent influenced by your body "type" - endomorphs (like myself) naturally sport larger muscle mass without doing much work at all to gain it or retain it. Ectomorphs will lose it if they aren't training hard to keep it. Mesomorphs are in the middle. Which one are you?

Knowing which one you tend towards helps people when they are gaining muscle as it teaches them what workout routines and food they should be easing for best results. By the same token if you are planning to shed muscle you should probably look into your type and alter your diet and activity to suit it.
