I went to Dr Cardenas in Guadalajara in 2009 and I had the following procedures done
1. Hairline advancement
2. Brow bone contouring
3. Brow lift
4. Buccal fat "pad" removed from my cheeks
5. Liposuction on my chin
6. Trachea shave
Dr Cardenas and his staff were very kind and I received great care, he really gave me the impression that he cares and respects the trans community. I wasn't feeling ready to go back to the hotel on my discharge day, so he actually gave me 2 additional hospital nights free. I'm very happy with all the work he did, but bare in mind I was young and thought the more surgery the better which isn't always the best idea. I'm lucky that he was able to make everything look very natural and subtle while still feminizing me. The only procedure I'm not completely satisfied with is the scar on my hairline from the advancement, but that is because the technique he used looks best when you get micro hair grafts to cover the scar and round off the temple area, he told me this prior to surgery and I will have it done one day. The scar is very faint now, the only time it bothers me is when I want to pull all my hair off my face, it doesn't look clocky or bald just sparse. I have my Cisgender sister and mother have the same problem with the hairline around the temples naturally scooping up for lack of a better term.
Overall I definitely think Cardenas is worth seriously considering, I referred many of my trans friends and associates to him and they are happy. When I have surgery for cosmetic purposes again I will definitely go back to him. I've had my eye on those hip implants he does for quite a long time.
I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have
