I wasn't aware of this day, but that's great. My generations solution to the gender non-conforming community was to pretend it didn't exist, or brush it off as perversion, or actively attack it. And what is funny, is that many of the ignorant and intolerant people that perpetuated the image now feel as if THEY are the ones under attack. I find that hilarious. It's like when white people feel threatened by the notion of black people or other minorities having equality, after oppressing them for centuries. Those people need to be shaken up on a regular basis, imo. More awareness, less ignorance! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
